The Garden Shoppe specializes in rejuvenating existing garden beds and planting newly created beds by adding shrubs, perennials, containers and garden décor. We start with your soil and any foundation work that needs to be done. We then design a garden that meets your needs, whether it be a foundation garden, cottage garden, cutting garden, kitchen garden, or simply supplementing an existing garden. In the photos below, we helped transform a homeowner's backyard into a beautiful butterfly garden, while incorporating her own items.

Too often, landscapers use perennials that look their best at the time the garden is installed, so that all the plants are blooming at one time of the year. Or, landscapers sometimes use the same plants, over and over, in every garden they work on. They also use a lot of shrubs and not that many flowers. We use our knowledge from our years of experience in growing and working with perennials to create a diverse and visually pleasing pallatte of color.

We also take into account what you, the home or business owner, will have to do to maintain that garden. The result is a garden that works. We charge $35.00 per hour for our services, and we will be happy to provide you with references.

Upon completion of the garden, our major landscaping customers receive a plant notebooks with pictures and an information sheet on each of the new plants in their garden.
